SAC is Back!
The Staff Advisory Council is relaunching with a streamlined and updated structure and focus. We are actively seeking colleagues from across the university who are interested in supporting and sustaining Tulane’s uniquely relational culture as it relates to staff employees.
SAC Facts
SAC Fact #1:
The Staff Advisory Council is a university-wide body of elected and appointed staff employees.
SAC Fact #2:
The Staff Advisory Council is officially recognized by the university administration as representing the views of staff employees. SAC holds seats on the University Senate and several Senate subcommittees, including Faculty & Staff Benefits and Budget Review.
SAC Fact #3:
Over the years, the Staff Advisory Council has successfully championed a number of initiatives benefiting staff employees, including but not limited to:
- The Tulane Staff Legacy Award
- Milestone Anniversary Celebrations
- Expanded benefits like Short-Term Disability
- Dependent Tuition Waiver Workshops
SAC Fact #4:
SAC representatives have regular opportunities to engage with university senior leadership.
