About the Staff Advisory Council

The Staff Advisory Council (SAC), established at Tulane in 1981, is an advisory body of elected and appointed staff employees. As the only staff assembly that is officially recognized by the university administration as representing the views of staff employees, SAC holds seats on the University Senate and several Senate subcommittees. The Staff Advisory Council facilitates communication between the administration and staff employees on a wide range of topics concerning overall staff welfare, university policies, and operations. The council also supports community-building social and professional development programs and activities.

For more details about the Staff Advisory Council, please see the SAC Constitution and SAC Bylaws.
