The 2022 Toy Drive is underway!

Online donations will be closed on December 1, but toys and gifts may be dropped off through December 2.
The Tulane University Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is proud to host its annual Holiday Toy Drive for local CASA programs. Since 2008, the SAC's CASA toy drive has provided thousands of holiday gifts for abused and neglected children in the foster care system in Orleans, Jefferson, and St. Tammany parishes.
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children is a network of 933 community-based programs that recruit, train and support citizen-volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in courtrooms and communities. CASA New Orleans serves 130 children, CASA Jefferson serves 128 children, and CASA of St. Tammany serves over 150 children in foster care, ranging in age from newborn to 18 years old.
Every day in the United States, 1,900 children become victims of abuse or neglect. For many of these children, the holiday season often holds nothing but disappointment. This year, amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic crisis, we want to make sure these children are not forgotten. With your help, we can bring smiles to their faces, and make their holidays a little happier.
Donation Guidelines
Wish list: developmental toys (6 months-18 months), athletic equipment, boys/girls watches, boys wallets, Legos, MP3 players, teen purses/jewelry, comforter sets, art equipment, gift cards, books.
Toys and gifts must be NEW, NOT GIFT WRAPPED, AND IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING.
Individual gifts should not exceed $25 in value. Aim for quality over quantity: one $20 gift is preferable to twenty items from the dollar store.
There is a high need for gifts that suit pre-teens and teenagers. Gift cards are often ideal: movie theatre gift cards, Bath & Body Works, Game Stop, Foot Locker, etc.
